Bag GuyTerms of use
These terms apply when you use the Bag Guy app and website ("Bag Guy," "we," "us"). By using Bag Guy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Bag Guy.
1. Who can use Bag Guy
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bag Guy. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for keeping your account login secure.
2. What Bag Guy is, and isn't
Bag Guy is an independent shopping and savings app. Bag Guy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the USDA, SNAP, or any state agency. Bag Guy does not process EBT payments, manage benefits, or decide SNAP eligibility. "SNAP-friendly" labels and our guides are general information to help you shop. They don't promise that an item will be eligible at checkout, and they aren't legal advice about your benefits. The store's register and your state's rules decide.
3. Deals and offers
Deals, prices, and offers come from many sources and can change, sell out, or end without notice. They may vary by store and location. We work to keep them accurate, but we can't promise that every offer will be available or that a store will honor it. Always check the price at the store.
4. Bag Points
- Bag Points are a loyalty feature. They have no cash value, aren't your property, and can't be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
- Points are awarded according to the rules shown in the app, and they're confirmed by our systems. We may decline or remove points earned through errors, duplicate or altered receipts, or misuse.
- We may change the Bag Points program with reasonable notice in the app.
5. Memberships
Optional paid memberships aren't available yet. When they launch, purchases in the iPhone app will be processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew each billing period until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your Apple account settings. We'll show the price, billing period, and benefits before you buy.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as receipt photos and lists. You give us permission to use it to run and improve Bag Guy, as described in our privacy policy. Only submit receipts for your own purchases.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse Bag Guy. For example, don't submit fake or altered receipts, create multiple accounts to earn extra points, use bots or scrapers, interfere with the service, or break the law.
8. Affiliate links and third-party services
Bag Guy may link to stores and services we don't control, and some links may be affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosure. Your use of another company's site or service is governed by its own terms.
9. Disclaimers
Bag Guy is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise that Bag Guy will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you'll save any particular amount.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bag Guy won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost savings or lost profits, arising from your use of Bag Guy.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using Bag Guy and delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
13. Apple
These terms are between you and Bag Guy, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Bag Guy or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.
